There’s a lot to unpack on this subtle piece, mainly the fabric. The piece is made from cotton but the resulting process gives it a thick and lustrous feel resembling silk. The cotton undergoes the process of mercerization - twice. Basically, the treatment strengthens the thread giving it increased durability, resistance, and removal of lint. It also absorbs dye better for deeper colors and less fade with cleaning. The silk touch is unlike any cotton we’ve used. The lining is a smooth sporty nylon/poly which surprisingly pairs really well. You can really feel the details when worn.
All the cut seams are reversed and finished for all smooth edges. The cuffs are also reinforced on the hem, along with folded pleat detailing on the wrist section. The elongated sleeves include thumbholes.

Overall fit is more slender, cropped in the body with longer sleeves and a modernized “Hanbok” collar.
